Guidelines for Awarding  index Marks at the Time of selection of Assistant Professors In Private Arts and Science College Affiliated to the University of Calicut (16-01-20120.

1-Marximum Marks :100
Scheme Of Weightage
2-Academic Qualification   :40 marks
3-55 % for P G                      :1/4 of % awarded as marks.
4-NET                                   :Nil
5-NET + Mhil                        :5 Marks
6-NET + Ph.D                       :10 Marks
7-M.Phil befor 1992            :Nil
8-Ph.d befor 1993               :Nil
9-JRF/SRF/                          :5 marks
10-Publications                   :I for Each (max 8 )
11-Presentations                :1 for each(max 4 )
12-Research Project          : 1 for each(max 5 )
13-Experience                    : 1 for each(max 10 )
14-Additional P G              : 3 Marks
15-Pedagogical skills        :5 Marks
16-Interview                       : 25 marks (15+10).

  5. As per UGC Guidelines mark for interview is 20 only. See calicut university gazette NOTIFICATION
    No. 3696/GA-I-F1/2013/CU. 26th February 2014.

  6. Interview mark for AP will not be above 20% as per UGC guideline, regulations 2010.

  7. As per the University Order dated 3.2.2012, the details are ok except pedagogical skill. Page 3 of the order says the mark will be given separately by all members out of 10 and take average so that the mark for pedagogical skill is 10.

  8. As per UGC regulation 2010, it is given in appendix iii table ii C that 50% for Academic qualifications.

    Also in 6.0.2. They told that no university can change the scores and categories.
