Battle of the Pyramids
1-The Battle of the Pyramids, also known as the Battle of Embabeh, was fought on July 21, 1798 between the French army in Egypt under Napoleon Bonaparte, and local Mamluk forces.
2- It occurred during France's Egyptian Campaign and was the battle where Napoleon put into use one of his significant contributions to tactics, the massive divisional square.
3- Actually a rectangle, the first and second demi-brigades of the division formed the front and rear faces, while the third demi-brigade formed the two sides.
GANDHI
GANDHI
1-“Gandhi” is a 1982 biographical film based on the life of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who led the nonviolent resistancemovement against British colonial rule in India during the first half of the 20th century.
2-The film was directed by Richard Attenborough and stars Ben Kingsley as Gandhi.
3- They both won Academy Awards for their work on the film. The film was also given the Academy Award for Best Picture and won eight Academy Awards.

2-He was an educator and participant in the campaign for Indian independence, and became Mahatma Gandhi's closest friend and associate.
3-Andrews greatly admired the philosophy of the young Mohandas Gandhi, and was instrumental in convincing him to return to India from South Africa, where Gandhi had been a leading light in its Indian civil rights struggle.

1-Tourism in India is the largest service industry, with a contribution of 6.23% to the national GDP and 8.78% of the total employment in India. India witnesses more than 17.9 million annual foreign tourist arrivals and 740 million domestic tourism visits.
2-The tourism industry in India generated about US$100 billion in 2008 and that is expected to increase to US$275.5 billion by 2018 at a 9.4% annual growth rate. In the year 2010, 17.9 million foreign tourists visited India.
3-Majority of foreign tourists come from USA and UK. Maharashtra , Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are the top 5 states to receive inbound tourists.
