atmosphere that prevailed at the holy shrine helped us to experience peace
beyond measure.
Delhi, the capital city of
India with its majestic buildings, endless flow of traffic, bustling streets,
administrative blocks and historical monuments captivated our hearts and minds.
The visit to the Parliament House was very informative. The group paid homage
to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajghat. The visit to the Qutub Minar, Red Fort and
India Gate revealed the ancient skill in architecture.
The Lotus temple, the
Akshardam temple and the Birla Mandir renewed our spiritual faith. The return
trip was simple and by train. As history students, the tour was a great experience to
them and all were happy to see the stuctures and monuments which they had been
hearing since school days .The historic tour and
the successful completion of a mammoth task was a truly enriching and unforgettable
experience.
