Akhbarat: the literal meaning of akhbar, the singular of akhbarat, is newspaper. It was the news of imperial court or the newsletters of the mughal. The system was started by akbar.

There were fourteen scribes who undertook the work of recording minutes of the royal court proceedings every day. It included the minutes, the firmans and other papers which were presented to the royal court of akbar. Then, multiple copies were prepared within a week and got approved by the emperor.

Well, in the History of Indian Independence, the sorrowful incident of WAGON TRAGEDY has not been given the prominence and has never been in the limelight. It is nothing short of Jalianwala bagh massacre or Chauri chaura incident.

Well, the time has come for all of us to pay homage to the victims of Wagon tragedy and the apt time is NOW. 

How ? 

It has been announced in the recent railway budget that train no. 22609 / 10 Mangalore - Palakkad INTERCITY express would be extended to Coimbatore jn. This may be done on any date when the new railway time table comes to effect from 1st July 2012.

History is a branch of knowledge that fulfils the desire of man to know the past.It becomes the collective memory of human society.The study of history comprehends all the human experiences in the past,which includes wahts men have said,done or suffered;that helps one to find out the present traces of the past.So,we can say that history is the respresentation of the past experience through the works of historian.

Why history ?

Knowledge of the past is essential to the society.Without the knowledge of the past  we would be without identity.So historical study helps us to understand the present.itacts as a guide for the future.It teaches us how bad decisions have led to the catastophe.history warns us not to cross the limit in certain aspects.It has the characteristics of science and art.Historical study may helps us to predict the future.It helps to develop the reasong power in man and make him a more reasonable human being.It increases our memory capacity and imagination.Also history gives us a chronological order of events which have shapened our present.
