Reading Day
Department of Malayalam and NSS of KAHM Unity Women's College organised a "ENTE VAAYANA"programme to commemorate the memory of P. N. Panickar, the father of Library Movement in whose name the Reading Day is observed in

Awareness Class, planting of tree saplings and administration of pledge to protect the environment marked the observance of World Environment Day here in KAHM Unity College on Friday, June 5th 2015. Saplings were planted inside the campus. Advo. Ummer M.L.A inaugurated the exercise by planting a sapling in the presence of M.S.F leaders, College manager, principal and NSS volunteers. In his speech Advo. Ummer emphasized the need to protect the environment from pollution and importance of sapling planting. As many as 200 tree saplings planted at Unity College. Volunteers also took a pledge to protect the environment.
