The Department of History proudly congratulates Shamna V on this remarkable feat and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.

 

Independence Day Observation

 The History Association, Department of History, organized an online collage-making competition on August 15, 2024, in celebration of the 78th Indian Independence Day. The event aimed to encourage creativity and patriotism among students, attracting participants from various departments who showcased their artistic skills and love for the nation. The winners of the competition were Shana A. C from the First Semester BSc FCS, who secured the first prize, followed by Najiya Kadavan from the First Semester History, and Fahima P from the  BSC Computer Science who won the second and third prizes, respectively. The competition was successfully coordinated by Association Secretary Munjiya, ensuring a smooth and fair event. The History Association congratulates the winners and expresses gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and contribution to the celebration of India's 78th Independence Day.

നറുകര: മഞ്ചേരി കൊരമ്പയിൽ അഹമ്മദ് ഹാജി മെമ്മോറിയൽ യൂണിറ്റി വിമൺസ് കോളേജിൽ മാധ്യമം വെളിച്ചം പദ്ധതി കോളേജ് മാനേജർ എഞ്ചിനീയർ ഒ അബ്ദുൽ അലി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. വായനയിൽ നിന്നാണ് ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന സമൂഹം രൂപപ്പെട്ടു വരുന്നത്. വായനയെ മികവുറ്റതാക്കിയാൽ മാത്രമെ സാംസ്കാരികമായി ആരോഗ്യമുള്ള ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെ വാർത്തെടുക്കാൻ സാധിക്കു എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തി. വെളിച്ചം പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള ആദ്യ കോപ്പി പട്ടർക്കുളം നിവാസിയായ മുർഷിദ സുമയ്യ കോളേജ് വൈസ് ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ ഫാത്തിമ തസ്നിക്ക് കൈമാറി. ചടങ്ങിൽ കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ പ്രൊ. (ഡോ.) മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീർ ഉമ്മത്തൂർ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് അഷറഫ് പയ്യനാട് മാധ്യമം വെളിച്ചം പദ്ധതിയെക്കുറിച്ച് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. പരിപാടിക്ക് സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവർത്തകൻ ശ്രീ. ഹംസ, ചരിത്ര വിഭാഗം അധ്യാപിക ജസീന സി എന്നിവർ ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു. നാഷണൽ റീഡിംഗ് ഡേയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ശിഹാബ് തങ്ങൾ ലൈബറി & ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സെൻറർ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച വായന മത്സരത്തിൽ വിജയിച്ച മൂന്നാം വർഷ ചരിത്ര വിഭാർത്ഥിനി ഫാത്തിമ തസ്നിയെ ചടങ്ങിൽ ആദരിച്ചു. മീഡിയ ക്ലബ്ബ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഷബീർമോൻ എം സ്വാഗതവും, ചരിത്ര വിഭാഗം അധ്യാപകൻ ഫൈസൻ ടി.കെ നന്ദിയും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
