Swadeshabhimani Ramakrishna Pillai (1878-1916)

1-He was born at Neyyattinkara in Thirruvananthapuram.

2-He was the editor of ‘Malayali’ published from Kollam.

3-In 1906 he became the editor of Swadeshabhimani.

4-He was deported from Kerala for criticising the government in 1910.

5-‘Karl Marx’, ‘‘Kerala Bhasholpathy’ ‘‘Benjamin Franklin’’ Mohandas Gandhi, ‘‘Socrates’, ‘‘Dharmaraja Nirupanam’ are his famous works.

6-‘‘Ente Nadukadathal’’ is his autobiography.

7-He died on 28 March 1916 at Kannur.

8-His memorial is situated at Payyampalam in Kannur.
